The 19 year old Brighton singer-songwriter, who found fame on You Tube, is also celebrating after completing his first UK tour and scoring Top 10 iTunes positions with Contrast worldwide.  Not bad for someone who started making music in his bedroom.

The brilliant album features collaborations with Rita Ora and Ne-Yo as well tracks written by Pharrell and Frank Ocean. Conor told me " I think people are going to be very surprised by what they hear on the album..and I also think there aren't many artists doing what I'm doing right now. So there's something on there for everyone."

Conor also joked about the time he spent in studio with Rita Ora. " It was kinda scary and I did start crying at one point and I did have to go into the corner to calm myself down. Nah, only joking! Me and Rita have been friends for a long time so go into the studio with her and nice touch for the album."

Conor's Vegas Girl is currently Top 20 in the UK and it looks like his collaboration with Ne-Yo, which I talked about here, will be his next single.

And judging by the reaction from the Mayniacs that came along to Conor's recent HMV album signing in London, me thinks he'll be around for some time…
