David Furnish "I want to make Tantrums Part 2"

Canadian born film-maker David Furnish has told me that he'd love to produce a sequel to his acclaimed 1997 documentary about husband Sir Elton John, Tantrums and Tiaras.

The award winning film provided Elton fans with an access-all-areas, 'warts and all' insight into his unique world, complete with tennis court tantrums, dressing room arguments and on-stage magic and now David has confessed that he'd love to direct a sequel.

David and Sir Elton are father to son Zachary and Elton has again admitted this week, that the couple hope to provid e Zac with a brother or sister "at some futute date."

Speaking to me about his documentary idea, at the recent Glamour Awards, David told me "a lot has changed since 16 years ago and there's a lot of interesting things to tell."

Meanwhile, Sir Elton publishes "Love Is The Cure: On Life, Loss And The End Of AIDS" today, published by Hodder & Stoughton and you can hear Elton talking to me at the recent Billy Elliot 10th Anniversary celebration here.
