Gabrielle's cover of the Frankie Goes to Hollywood classic 'The Power of Love' is currently Top 10 in the UK and has been selling well ever since the song premiered in the 2012 John Lewis Christmas commercial featuring snowmen. The song is a contender for the UK Christmas No.1.

Gabrielle will release her solo album next year and tour across the UK, Europe as well as the US and Canada. And she confirmed to me that although she loves 'older' music and bands like Fleetwood Mac, she did reveal to me that she loves the new One Direction album "it's a really good album actually.."

The new singer also explained how she came to cover the song, why she always gets what she wishes for and confirms that Frankie Goes to Hollywood singer Holly Johnson approves of her cover; " Yeah, Holly reached out to me to say how much he liked my version and that meant a lot to me.."

I for one can't wait to hear what's coming next from Bath based Gabrielle next year.
