Nicole joined Enrique Iglesias, Dizzee Rascal, Kiesza and DJ Hardwell in Malta´s Il-Fosos Square for the most elaborate visual spectacular ever to be hosted by MTV in Malta.

The former Pussycat Doll and X Factor judge performed new single "Your Love" and her biggest hits during a stunning forty minute set, which showcased both her incredible vocal ability and dance moves, accompanied by a troupe of male and female dancers.

"I live for the stage and I'm just happy to be back out there with my music" the star told me, poolside at Malta's Excelsior Hotel.

And if that wasn’t enough, Nicole was Enrique's surprise guest during his brilliant set, with the pair getting up close and personal for a memorable performance of their hit duet "Heartbeat." Trust me when I say that performance had everyone talking!

Enrique jumped off the stage and engaged with the fans during his hi-energy set, which included a performance of fan favourite "Hero" on a side stage placed near the middle of the crowd and right in front of the VIP section. Trust me when I say, that it's rather surreal watching one of the world's biggest selling artists perform just three feet away from you. And especially THAT song!

Speaking to me backstage, Enrique also told me why's proud to be touring the UK once again, later this year and praised Demi Lovato; who'll join him on the Sex and Love 2014 tour.

UK star Dizzee Rascal and crew brought some serious energy and noise, in a memorable performance which saw thousands of Maltese music fans bounce to Bonkers and some of his biggest hits. After owning the Glastonbury stage and Capital's Jingle Bell Ball several times over, it was obvious that Dizzee would deliver in Malta.

Rising star Kiesza once again proved why she's a future star, with another brilliant performance of No.1 song Hideaway and forthcoming tracks from her new album, set for release later this year.

The annual Isle of MTV summer show - now in its eighth consecutive year, delivered in partnership with Malta Tourism Authority and sponsored by music and lifestyle brand House of Marley and Someone Like Me, a global sex education campaign collaboration between Durex and MTV Staying Alive Foundation - was hosted by MTV presenter Laura Whitmore.

A 60-minute special will be broadcast across 20 MTV channels internationally beginning 1 August.
