Speaking to me at last night's Creative Industries GREAT reception, sponsored by the Founders Forum, Pete told me he was still getting over the cancellation but revealed that the plan is to stage the Hit Factory Live show across two nights, at London's 02, just before Christmas.

Waterman told me "It looks like we have another date now. We're still waiting for one person to say yes and then we'll re-do it at Christmas..I can't say who that is, as we still need to get everybody to agree. But we're nearly there, we're not far off. It will be at the 02 yes, for two nights before Christmas. So it'll be like a Christmas pantomime..!"

Here's hoping that our festive treat will include watching Kylie and Jason duet once again and maybe Steps will re-create the Heartbeat video, complete with fake snow, a beautiful log cabin and a giant sleigh. No news yet on ticketing or dates but watch this space, as they say...
