Rizzle Kicks "Our new album is more mature"

2011 was an amazing year for Brighton boys Jordan and Harley, aka Rizzle Kicks. And 2012 is going rather well for the lads, what with several festival dates, a sell out UK tour and platinum sales for debut album Stereo Typical.

Speaking to me recently, Jordan from the band confirmed to me that they're excited about their forthcoming, second album. "I think we've excelled ourselves both lyrically and musically and we've progressed as songwriters, so we're genuinely excited.."

The band also revealed plans to work once more with Brighton's finest, Norman Cook aka Fatboy Slim, on a track that will also "showcase a cool talking voice. Yeah, you don't expect that so we're breaking boundaries for sure."

The lads also recently accused Olly Murs of ignoring them, after he released an alternative version of his hit "Mama do the Hump" as his first single in the USA. But in their usual style, the lads qualified that by laughing "Nah, just joshing..we love Olly man and hope he cracks America. He deserves it man!"
