They're currently promoting new single "Beautiful Life" and release their self-titled debut album next week (October 28th) but Union J fans can also look forward to holding the lads in the palm of their hand, from 2014.
Union J: "Our Dolls Look Incredible"
That's right, I'm talking about the official Union J dolls set for release in January, from entertainment company Vivid.
JJ, Jaymi George and Josh have been telling me all about their new range, which Jaymi confessed "are so lifelike it literally looks like you've shrunk us all. They're incredible, I'm not just saying it but against all other dolls out there ours look the most lifelike. The attention to detail is amazing. They gave me a six-pack which I'm also really happy about!"
But let's be honest, it must have been weird to look at a 9 inch plastic version of yourself? George admitted "They're really creepy. When we saw them for the first time we thought this is weird. Jaymi's Mum was like do they come with pins. They're the best dolls ever."
And Josh admitted to me that his doll had to be sent back for a few minor tweaks. "The first time we got them, they were amazing but the guys from the company said we're gonna go away to improve yours. That's cool! I mean One Direction have had them and we're just so grateful that we have the opportunity to get them. My Mum screamed when she first saw mine! "
And JCats will also be able to wrap the boys around their fingers, on the same hand if desired..
"We've also got mini dolls, you know, like bobble-heads, like tiny tiny figurines of us. They're basically key-rings which look strange as our heads are really big and our bodies are really small. But they look really cool. They put a screw in our head and hang from a chain."
JJ added "Knowing we're going to be on the same shelf as Little Mix and JLS is just crazy."
